The annual PULLMAN XCHANGE exhibition brings internationally recognized Indonesian artists, contemporary dance, fashion presentations, and live music together in Bali.

BALI, Indonesia — Pullman Bali Legian Beach presented PULLMAN XCHANGE: SYMPHONY OF ELEMENTS on October 23, 2026, bringing together painting, sculpture, fashion, dance, and music for an evening celebrating artistic diversity and creative collaboration.

Held in collaboration with the Mangurupa Art Community, the annual exhibition transformed the resort’s Alun-Alun Garden into a gathering space for artists and creative professionals from different disciplines. The event explored how colors, forms, materials, movement, and sound can interact to create a shared artistic experience.

The exhibition was guided by Dewa Putu Ardana, chairman of the Mangurupa Art Community, with Ida Bagus Putu Radnyana serving as the project lead for PULLMAN XCHANGE: SYMPHONY OF ELEMENTS.

Two Indonesian artists with international experience took center stage through their paintings and sculptures: Tatang Budi Santoso, known professionally as Tatang B.Sp, and Balinese sculptor I Ketut Putrayasa.

Tatang B.Sp is known for his symbolic and thought-provoking visual narratives. His international exhibition history includes Olympic Fine Arts 2008 in Beijing and the 6th Beijing International Art Biennale. His artwork Borderless is also part of the collection at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Putrayasa brings an international portfolio spanning projects and exhibitions in Belgium, France, Singapore, and Turkey. His achievements include recognition for his final project at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Denpasar and the creation of The Octopus Queen, a monumental 25-meter bamboo installation that received a record from the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) in 2025 as Indonesia’s largest woven-bamboo sculpture.

He was also involved in a Kecak performance featuring 5,555 dancers at Berawa Beach, which received MURI recognition in 2018.

Beyond the visual arts, the event expanded into fashion, contemporary dance, and music, creating a multidisciplinary program designed to engage audiences through different forms of creative expression.

Dance Generation, a Bali-based dance group and quarterfinalist on Indonesia’s Got Talent in 2023, delivered a contemporary performance combining choreography and acrobatic elements.

Fashion presentations by Debz Collections and EP Art by Eka Plawa added another dimension to the exhibition. Models and choreography from Lenny Hartono Management brought the collections to life. The management company’s portfolio includes New York Fashion Week 2023, Bali International Fashion Festival 2023, and Miss Teenager Universe 2024.

EP Art by Eka Plawa further explored the relationship between traditional Balinese influences and contemporary design through costumes, artistic direction, and stage presentation. DJ Herllyna completed the program with music throughout the evening, connecting the visual and performing arts under the exhibition’s broader creative theme.

Ravi Khubchandani, general manager of Pullman Bali Legian Beach, said the exhibition reflects the value of bringing different artistic perspectives together while creating opportunities for Indonesian creativity to reach wider audiences.

“PULLMAN XCHANGE: SYMPHONY OF ELEMENTS reflects the beauty of bringing different creative voices into one space. Each artist and discipline has its own identity, yet together they create new connections and perspectives,” Khubchandani said in an official statement.

“Through this exhibition, we hope to offer our guests and community an experience that feels engaging, inspiring and meaningful, while continuing to provide a platform for Indonesian creativity,” he added.

The exhibition will continue beyond its opening night, with selected paintings and sculptures displayed throughout the lobby of Pullman Bali Legian Beach. The ongoing presentation allows guests to experience the participating artists’ work as part of their stay at the resort.

Through PULLMAN XCHANGE: SYMPHONY OF ELEMENTS, the resort continues to create opportunities for artists, guests, and creative communities to connect through new ideas and perspectives. The initiative also highlights the role of hospitality venues as spaces where art, culture, and contemporary creative practices can meet.
