PT Duta Wibawa Manda Putra Bali strengthens pre-departure training for Indonesian migrant workers heading to Turkey, supported by AYC Turkey to ensure safe, legal, and professional overseas employment.

BALI – PT Duta Wibawa Manda Putra (DWMP) Bali Branch has intensified its preparation program for prospective Indonesian migrant workers (CPMI) who are scheduled to depart for Turkey this month. The initiative aims to ensure every worker leaves through legal procedures with adequate mental readiness, professional skills, and knowledge of local regulations.

Turkey has become one of the promising destinations for Indonesian migrant workers, particularly in the hospitality industry, offering opportunities in housekeeping, food and beverage services, cooking, and spa therapy. The company is also preparing future recruitment for factory workers and public area staff.

He explained that the training includes professional ethics, workplace discipline, cultural adaptation, and compliance with Turkish laws. Participants are reminded to respect local customs, avoid offensive language or behavior, and obey all regulations while living and working abroad.

According to Purnawirawan, 24 participants have already secured their visas, while the remaining applicants are completing the final visa stamping process. A total of 38 prospective workers attended the latest pre-departure orientation session.

“AYC Turkey has a representative office that can assist Indonesian migrant workers whenever they experience difficulties while working in Turkey. They will not be left without support,” Sri Puspaningsih said.

Speaking fluently in Turkish during the orientation, Sri reassured participants that language barriers should not become a major concern.

“For newcomers, body language and English are generally sufficient during the initial adaptation period, so there is no need to worry,” she explained.

Parents of prospective workers also expressed confidence in the placement program. I Kadek Pasek, whose family members have previously worked in Turkey, said the existence of a local representative office provides peace of mind.

“I feel more comfortable knowing there is a representative office in Turkey where our family members can seek assistance if they encounter any problems,” Pasek said.
